The second edition of Technology for Health and Social Challenges, the project by Fondazione Triulza and Politecnico di Milano which combines biomedical technology with social impact, was launched on 21 February. Within the teaching “Transdisciplinary Projects for Health and Social challenges” – taught by Emanuele Lettieri and Alfonso Gautieri (Politecnico di Milano) – students will collaborate with the staff of Intellica.it, the platform of COOSS Marche Onlus, and with a team of experts from Fondazione Triulza, to develop innovative solutions in the field of health and social. A unique opportunity for the students to apply their knowledge and engineering skills in a practical context, within the COOSS facilities such as the “Ciriaco Mordini” residence and the Cser “Si” and Coser “Together” facilities of Falconara.
The project will develop a prototype of artificial intelligence interaction: an innovative aspect in the cognitive stimulation processes of the Intellica.it platform, that will see the students engaged in the realization of a project that further enhances this “cognitive gym”. The work team will have the opportunity to observe and interact directly with users in COOSS facilities, collecting data and feedback that will contribute to the development of more effective and inclusive solutions.
The project is the continuation of the pilot “Capstone PoliMi per il Sociale” which was held in 2024. All the information on the first edition and the launch of the second on the pages below:
