During the Social Innovation Campus 2023, Fondazione Triulza and PlusValue in collaboration with the Lombardy Region, with the support of Finlombarda and with the stakeholder network of MIND – Milano Innovation District presented the international challenge “MATCH I.S. – Light on your social innovation” to foster collaboration between medium-large Lombardy companies with a need for social innovation and “social tech” start-ups / scale-ups that could offer innovative solutions. The aim of the initiative is to make Lombardy a global “social tech” region.
Up to six companies with operational headquarters in Lombardy (or intending to open one) will be selected, and they will receive a needs and priorities analysis service about social innovation and personalized guidance for innovation, internationalization and access to venture capital and European financing. These companies will also take advantage of the collaboration with start-ups / scale-ups with social impact and high growth potential.
Selected companies will be asked to imagine a new large-scale open innovation project and/or to scale up an already existing social innovation project to explore new ideas in the field of social innovation by responding to the challenge of a more sustainable european industry according to ESG criteria and therefore, speed up, validate and implement the potential transfer of innovative social solutions to the market.
The final event with the presentation of the outcomes will be organized in December 2023 in collaboration with the Lombardy Region.

Applications for start-ups/scale-ups intending to propose their own solutions to the proposed challenges will open on the Open Innovation Lombardia regional participatory platform in April 2023.
